# How much does AI consulting cost for a small business? FindITconsultants’ 2026 country table compares mid-to-senior IT consultants. Only the Danish breakdown provides a separate AI and machine learning rate for senior experience: - Denmark, AI and machine learning: EUR 134–187 per hour. - Netherlands, general IT category: EUR 85–170 per hour. - Germany, general IT category: EUR 80–160 per hour. - Norway, general IT category: EUR 78–156 per hour. - United Kingdom, general IT category: equivalent EUR 83–172 per hour. - Sweden, general IT category: equivalent EUR 68–127 per hour. The platform describes ranges as the 20th–80th percentile and states that rates exclude VAT. Currency comparisons use its April 2026 exchange assumptions. These are published indications from a proposal network and comparative sources, not a census of all consultants or a local small-business price. Against its market baseline, FindITconsultants describes a 10–20% consultancy premium and a 10–20% reduction for direct independent consultants; brokers sit at the baseline. Do not add those percentages into a guaranteed discount between arbitrary quotes. Compare equivalent roles, scope and terms. ## What does the project-price example show? Alice Labs publishes an illustrative 2026 scale for boutique AI automation in Stockholm. The items buy different work: - Initial opportunity discovery: EUR 1,600–4,000. - Pilot with a working automation: EUR 16,000–40,000. - Full implementation: EUR 75,000–230,000. These are provider indications, not a European consulting minimum. The published equivalents use EUR 1 = SEK 11.30 as a conversion assumption. The page labels these project figures as including VAT, unlike FindITconsultants’ hourly rates.
