Measured, decided, proven, handed over
Website Design and Build
We build static websites for small businesses with WCAG 2.2 level AA as the technical target. We measure your current site first, so the new one has numbers to beat. You sign the acceptance test before the last instalment. The timeline is set once the pages are counted. At handover, a person you name publishes a page alone while we watch.

What does a website build with us involve?
A website build with us is four steps with a result at each: we measure what you have, we decide in writing what the new site must do, we build it and prove it with an acceptance test, and we hand it over so you can run it without us. We build static websites: pages with no content management system behind them, unless you need one.
Static pages are delivered without a request-time CMS, but hosting, build tools, forms and other dependencies can still fail or need upkeep. The acceptance test compares LCP, the time until the main content appears, with the agreed threshold. Hosting is a separate monthly cost under the chosen plan; the amount is stated in the written decision. Our build offer is for one decision-maker and up to a few dozen pages, with measurement first and a signed test at the end.
We do not build online shops with thousands of products and we do not build custom applications.
Who is this for?
- The current site is slow, looks wrong on a phone, or nobody dares to touch it.
- You want a firm that says in writing what you will get and when, before you pay.
- You want someone on your team to change some wording or add a page alone.
- You sell in the European Union and want WCAG 2.2 AA as the agreed technical target from launch. The legal requirements for the particular service and country need a separate check; a technical target is not blanket legal clearance.
It is not right for you if you need a shop with thousands of products, a portal with customer login, or a site a marketing agency will fill with new sections every day.
What do you get?
The scope of the build is written down by page count and by language before we start: for example five, ten or twenty pages, in one or two languages.
- 01A measurement report of the current site: speed, search, accessibility, forms, with numbers and a date.
- 02A written decision: which pages, what each must do, what the acceptance test will measure. Both sides sign it.
- 03The site structure and the copy, ordered by page.
- 04A design in your brand, with colour contrast checked against the applicable accessibility criteria.
- 05The finished site, static, with a sitemap for search engines, metadata and a version per language.
- 06Proof: the acceptance test run with numbers for speed, weight and web accessibility to WCAG 2.2 level AA, signed by you before the last instalment.Lighthouse and axe-core provide automated evidence. Full WCAG conformance also requires evaluation beyond automated scores. We carry out the manual checks (keyboard, screen reader, reflow at phone width) ourselves and record them in the test next to the tool results.
- 07A Handover Guide and one hour of training: the colleague you name changes some wording and adds a page alone.
How does it run?
- 01Measure.We crawl the current site, or the sites of three competitors if you have none, and record the numbers the new one has to beat.
- 02Decide.We write down the pages, what each must do, and the acceptance test with exact numbers. The deadline is written here too, because by then the pages are counted.
- 03Build and prove. We build the site, run the acceptance test and show you the numbers. You sign the test before the last instalment is paid.
- 04Hand over.A guide, one hour of training, and your colleague publishes a page alone while we watch.
How long does it take?
The first step of the build, the measurement, takes up to ten working days. The timeline for the whole site is written into the decision at step two, once the pages and languages are counted, and does not change after that.
What do we build with, and why?
- Static pages: prebuilt files without a request-time CMS database. Our catalogue covers sites up to a few dozen pages.
- Hosting that serves the finished files as they are, with no server assembling the page on every load.
- Forms through a service that sends the message to your mailbox and keeps a copy.
- A content management system only when someone will write every week. Then we pick the simplest and show it in the decision with a reason.
What happens next?
The site we build is yours: the files, the domain, the hosting, all in your name. If you change contractor tomorrow, nothing stays locked with us.

- Do you need an accessibility statement?Covered service providers must supply accessible information on how their service meets the applicable requirements. Check the service, jurisdiction and required information; do not assume one statement template applies to every website.

Questions
How long does it take?
The measurement takes up to ten working days. The timeline for the whole site is written into the decision once the pages are counted, and does not change after that.
Who writes the copy?
You, us, or both. We set the structure and say what each page needs. If the copy comes from you, the clock starts on the day it is ready.
Can my colleague change the wording alone?
Yes. It is part of the acceptance test: your colleague publishes a page alone while we watch, before you sign.
Who owns the site afterwards?
You do. The files, the domain and the hosting are in your name from day one.
Is there support or maintenance after launch?
It is optional. Static page delivery needs no request-time CMS, but hosting, forms and dependencies can still need care. Your colleague changes the wording. Monitoring and response are our separate Monitoring and Care service.
What is the acceptance test?
The written decision sets LCP, page weight, WCAG 2.2 AA evaluation and working forms. Lighthouse and axe-core supply automated evidence, not full conformance proof. We carry out the manual checks (keyboard, screen reader, reflow at phone width) ourselves and record them in the test next to the tool results. We run the test in front of you; you sign the result before the last instalment.
How much does it cost?
The website design cost follows the scope written down before we start, and it is in the contract before you pay the first instalment. The article "How much does a website cost?" explains what drives market prices.
How do we pay?
In two instalments: 50% when the contract is signed and 50% after the signed acceptance test.
What happens to the old site?
Every old address that has visitors is redirected to the new one. That is part of the test. A visitor on an old link, and Google, land on the new page rather than on an error.
Will the site show up in Google and in AI answers?
The site launches with basic SEO built in: a sitemap, metadata, a version per language, and speed measured in the acceptance test. We do not promise a ranking. Whether ChatGPT and other AI assistants name your company, we measure separately in our AI Search Visibility service.
Next step
We measure your old site first.
Send us the address of the current site, or tell us there is none. We reply by the end of the next working day (Sofia time, UTC+2, UTC+3 in summer), with what we need to measure.
