After launch
Monitoring and Care
Website maintenance and automation monitoring for what you already run: the website is checked every hour, the automations on every run. If something fails, we respond by the end of the next working day. At the start of every month you get a report on what was checked, what failed and what was fixed.

What is monitoring and care?
Monitoring and care is a monthly service for the website and automations that already run. It checks them, fixes failures within the agreed scope and records what happened. It adds no new features. Website and automation monitoring are both part of the inventory.
A form can stop sending, an API key expire or a TLS certificate lapse. For publicly trusted TLS server certificates, issuance limits are 200 days from 15 March 2026, 100 from 15 March 2027 and 47 from 15 March 2029. Earlier certificates are not retrospectively shortened by these steps.
Who is this for?
- You have a website or an automation that enquiries or orders depend on, and nobody looks at it regularly.
- We built your website or automation and the month of monitoring after launch is ending.
- An automation has already stopped without an alert and you found out from a customer.
- You want a named contact and a written report, not a general support inbox.
What do we check?
The website:
- Uptime: whether it responds and how fast, every hour.
- The forms: a test enquiry that has to reach your inbox.
- Broken links and the speed of the pages listed in the inventory.
- The domain and SSL certificate expiry dates, before they run out.
The automations:
- Every run: whether it completed, the processed-record count defined in the inventory, and any error. In n8n, execution history can be filtered by status to help investigate.
- The error alerts: whether they reach the named people on both sides. In n8n, a configured error workflow starts with Error Trigger. An execution-error alert is not proof that an expected run actually started.
- Changes in the connected tools that can break the link: a new version, an expired key, a renamed field.
What is not included?
New features, new automations, redesign, version updates and backups as routine work, and accessibility fixes beyond small corrections. Each of these is separate work with its own proposal. Monitoring keeps what already works running.
How does it run?
- 01Inventory.We write down what runs in your business, what we check, and who the named person on your side is.
- 02Checks.Automatic, every hour for the website and on every run for the automations.
- 03Response.If something fails, we start work by the end of the next working day and write to you with what happened and what we are doing. Before a planned holiday we tell you in advance who responds and within what time.
- 04Report.At the start of every month, in writing.
What do you get?
A Monthly Health Report. In it: what was checked and how many times, what failed and for how long, what was fixed, and what we suggest replacing before it breaks.
A response by the end of the next working day means we start work and write to you. How long the fix itself takes depends on the cause, and the report records it.
How long does it take?
Monitoring starts after the inventory. The first report arrives at the start of the following month. The service runs monthly.
What happens next?
If the report shows the same failure several months in a row, we propose fixing the cause as separate work. If it shows a process that could run on its own, the next step is Automations.
Articles
- How often should a website be checked?Define what each check tests and how often. Hourly reachability checks, a form-to-inbox test and monitoring a workflow run answer different questions; none guarantees that no customer encounters a failure first.
- Our contact form is not sending emails: what should we do?Trace the request from form submission through the sending service to receipt or spam. Check errors and the actual sender’s authentication requirements; no single cause explains every missing email.
- How much does website maintenance cost per month?Compare the named work, included hours, tax basis, extra-work rates and exclusions. Individual provider examples are not a market average or an ErgoStrat quote.
- Do you need website maintenance if the site already works fine?Check what could fail: a plugin, a link or a certificate, and who would notice. Decide from those risks and the site’s role rather than assume every working site needs the same plan.
- What does a website maintenance package include?Compare updates, backups, security work, availability checks and fix hours line by line. They are not automatically included in every plan; our routine version updates and backups require a separate proposal.
- What is the difference between website maintenance and hosting?Hosting is where a site's files live. Maintenance is the regular work done on them. Paying for one does not automatically include the other.
- Website maintenance or redesign: what's the difference?Maintenance keeps a working site running. Redesign fixes a site that no longer does its job. Two different problems, two different fixes.
- How do you monitor n8n automations for errors and failures?Configured error workflows using Error Trigger and execution-history filters help investigate failed runs. Check alert delivery and expected-but-missing runs separately; a log alone does not establish complete monitoring.
- What happens when a website's SSL certificate expires? An expired certificate can cause a browser security warning and interrupt secure access. Check the issuer’s renewal process and the certificate’s actual expiry date; do not infer a universal search-ranking penalty.
- What does website uptime monitoring mean?Scheduled probes check reachability and can alert on failure. Over a 365-day year, 99.9% uptime corresponds arithmetically to about 8.76 hours unavailable. That is an example, not our uptime guarantee; polling can miss short failures.
Questions
What happens if the website goes down on a Sunday?
The website is checked hourly and detected failures trigger an alert to us. We start work and write to you by the end of the next working day in Sofia. An hourly probe does not detect every functional failure. If you need a faster response, agree it before we start; we write it in only if we can keep it.
Why not promise a response within the hour?
Because we prefer a deadline we keep every time to one that sounds better. Before any planned absence we tell you who responds and within what time, so the deadline holds then too.
What exactly do we get every month?
A Monthly Health Report with the checks, the failures and the fixes, and a list of what we suggest replacing before it breaks.
What is not included?
New features, new automations, redesign, version updates and backups as routine work, and accessibility fixes beyond small corrections. Each gets its own proposal.
Are updates and backups included?
Not as routine work: monitoring checks the site and fixes what fails, and replacing a version gets its own proposal. Every monthly report also lists what we suggest replacing before it breaks.
Do the website or automations have to be built by you?
No. The website can run on WordPress or another platform and come from another developer. We start with an inventory, which shows whether we can monitor them as they are. If we cannot, we say so before we start.
What happens if we stop?
Everything stays in your name: the accounts, the alerts, the guides. Nothing stays locked with us.
What does it cost and how do we pay?
A monthly price, fixed for the inventory and written into the proposal before we start.
